Photos: Destruction
The images below show some of the destruction on April 28, 2011 one day after the tornado, and July 11, 2011, two and a half months after the tornado. At the one year anniversary, tons and tons of damaged vehicles, homes, businesses and trees have been hauled away and the recovery has begun. But many, many damaged buildings and injured trees, remain and it has become clear that recovery will take years.
